2013 Ford Taurus SEL 3.5L - Single Muffler Delete and Resonator Delete

Описание к видео 2013 Ford Taurus SEL 3.5L - Single Muffler Delete and Resonator Delete

I was tired of not being able to hear my car when it was running but I also didn't want something obnoxious. I decided to do a single muffler delete (the passenger side one) as well as remove the resonator. I'm used to hearing the rumble of muscle cars and V8's so this is a little different for me. It will take some getting used to as it has a much more tin-like pitch to it but at higher RPM's, it sounds pretty good!

The car is otherwise stock, no other modifications done. The car is equipped with the non-turbocharged 3.5L motor and 6 speed automatic transmission. It is the FWD version of the car and the SEL trim line. The car is fully loaded on the inside and is a comfy ride. The sound isn't too drony on the inside and if I don't floor it, it's only faintly present on the inside. I'm glad I didn't remove both mufflers, I think it would be too loud. Since this is my long distance/roadtrip vehicle, I didn't want it to be ear piercing; I've got other vehicles for the purpose of loudness if I want. The entire set up cost me $265 CAD at a shop and took about an hour and a half.

If you have questions regarding the setup or performance, comment below and I'll do my best to respond! I won't post a lot of new car content on here but noticed there was a lack of non-SHO Taurus exhaust modification videos on YouTube. I hope this helps others make a decision on their exhaust systems.
