Ron Smith - 150m Dynamic

Ron Smith's 150 meter dynamic performance in a Hawaii freediving competition on June 03, 2012. This dive, combined with a 64m constant weight dive and a 7:15 static the two preceding days qualified Ron for the 2012 US Freediving Team to compete at the AIDA 20th anniversary Freediving World Championships to be held the month of September in Nice France.

The monofin is a DOL-Fin Orca from Smith Aerospace Corp. and, unlike traditional monofins and hyperfins, uses a high aspect-ratio hydrofoil to generate thrust.
