This bank fishing livestream takes place on the Sun River near Vaughn, Montana as we target hard-fighting Northern Pike and Common Carp from shore in moving water. With fast current, shallow edges, and deep cut banks, this stretch of the Sun River offers some of the most unpredictable multi-species fishing in north-central Montana.

The goal for this session was to connect with pike and carp, with bonus species always possible including walleye, white sucker, yellow perch, brown trout, and rainbow trout. While the predators proved stubborn, the stream delivered plenty of action with multiple big missed bites, strange bycatch moments, and one confirmed bullhead so the day didn’t end in a skunk.
