(First Day!) Warrington's Own Buses Goes ELECTRIC - A New Era! Volvo BZL: BV72 KPF

Two Days ago (March 22nd 2024), Marked the beginning of a new era for my local municipal bus operator, Warrington's Own Buses! After a long time of waiting, The company has entered the first of over 100 Volvo BZLs on order into service - With a 2023 registered Volvo demonstrator, that is on loan to the company for now until the rest of the BZLs are ready. This is the start of a fully electric fleet for the town, with the entire legacy fleet of the company being replaced.

When complete, the company will go from having a very old and decrepit fleet with a very old average fleet age, to one of the youngest fleets in the entire country.

This motor is surprisingly nice sounding for EV standards, So join me on it's last trip of it's inaugural day in service, on the contract 96 service into Warrington, from Lingley Mere Business Park. Enjoy!
