I took a 3-hour high-speed train from Minsk for 16 Belarusian Rubles. Prior to my departure, I managed to get in touch with Vitali whom I found through Couchsurfing. Despite our language barriers, Vitali was very excited to show me his hometown.
This Northernmost regional city has an advantageous geographical location as it is located at the crossroads of the most important trade between Russia, Baltic states, Ukraine, and Central and Western Europe.

In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and YouTube creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries.
