Emerald is a stone that I have used for several different improvements in my life. Well known as the stone of successful love, most of us don't realize that emerald is a stone that helps us to find our true love for and within ourselves. Emerald is a stone that first teaches us that others can only love us as much as we love ourselves, emerald then teaches us where to find that love within, rather than continue looking in our outside reality.
Emerald takes us on a journey of falling in love with ourselves, like no one else ever can. With the use of emerald we start to ask ourselves are we willing to give what we expect from others. When we see the contrast between what we are willing to give in a relationship and what we are expecting to get, emerald very guickly brings us this awareness encourages us to rethink our expectations of the outside world. This stone doesn't stop there though, far from it. After we now understand why we are not getting what we expect, we are actually getting back what we are putting out , emerald points us in the direction of relief, without any self recrimination, just a new realization to file away for later. Emerald will take us through this routine until we have gone through every subject, belief and emotion that has kept our own love and compassion at bay from ourselves for most of our lives. This stone shows us how to fall in love with ourselves, how to look within for the companion we are being, and the companion we are capable of being. With emerald we enter the life long love affair, of loving ourselves.

Emerald is also a stone that helps us to gauge how fast we want to go with certain aspects of our personal growth. Often times, we focus on parts of our lives we would like to improve, then we focus harder because it isn't improving, then harder until we finally pick up an emerald because we heard it was an inspirational propsperous stone. What emerald has to show us here is that everything in it's own time, not a disempowering belief that we must be patient, but an awareness of the 'cooking' process, seeing where our desired changes are within our lives. Have we done the foundational work within our belief structure to support these changes? If not emerald will guide us through the process of identifying and inspiring change within our beliefs, aiming at the desired change of our exterior world. Emerald shows us, like many stones how our outside world reflects our inside world, as above so below, with emerald we learn we are the star in both of these worlds.
Emerald is also known as a physical healing stone, I personally have used emerald for this purpose with great results. A very brilliant physician once told me, 'the human body gets well if it wants to, my only real is job to remind them that they want to get well'. This is exactly what emerald does, it reminds us why we want to be well, as we focus our attention on the wellness, rather than the illness, we are effected less and less. Once again showing us how our interior world is the foundatoin for our exterior world. Emerald can show us how to change our world from the inside out, falling in love with ourselves and all of our creations in a whole new way.
