Kashid is also famous for amazing seafood, so do try once.
The 3 km long white sand beach is the most beautiful and alluring in the Konkan region. Kashid Beach is a quiet and soothing place and a perfect getaway from the busy city life. Kashid is not as commercially popular as most other beaches in the state.

Kashid Beach is one of my favorite beach on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Kashid beach is located at 32 km away from Alibaug and 20 km away from Murud Janjira Fort. Being out side of the city this beach is clean and neat compare to other local beached neat Alibaug. and this is the white sand beach which you find very rarely at Arabian Sea shore. Kashid beach and Murud beach are famous beaches and best weekend gateway of Maharashtra. Distance between both Murud beach and Kashid beach is 16 km.

Specialty of this beach:
1. Kashid beach is known for its clear blue color sea, white sand and Casuarina groves that line the Shore. One of the safest beach in Konkan Region
2. Kashid beach has the Sahyadri mountains with greenery and paddy fields at one side and Arabian Sea on the other side..
3. Kashid beach is famous for water sport activities of Parasailing, Banana Boat rides, jet skiing. Horse, Camel and Buggy rides are also available.
4. A vast 3 km stretch of sea shore with white sand and crystal clear water attracts more tourists

Kashid is a beach village in Murud taluka on the shores of the Arabian Sea, in the North Konkan region of Maharashtra, India. It is located 15 km from Murud City and 135 km from Mumbai on the Alibag-Murud road. The beach is wedged between two rocky hills in a semi circular arch and is located in between the stretch of the sea in North Konkan between Mandwa and Murud-Janjira. Water sports activities are available on the beach during peak hours. Hotels and homestays are available all along the State highway which runs close to the beach. There are some places to visit and in around Kashid like the Phansad Bird sanctuary, the Korlai fort and the Datta Mandir at Revdanda. A Ro-Ro ferry service started about two years ago, allows one to drive down to Kashid on a ship from Ferry Wharf to Mandwa and then by road from there on. However prior reservations are a must especially on week-ends
