Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin (also known as Slinky Dog Spin) is a Caterpillar-style ride at Walt Disney Studios Park in France, Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland Park. The ride is part of the Toy Story Playland in France, and Toy Story Land in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The France ride opened on August 17, 2010, with the Hong Kong installation opening on November 17, 2011 and the Shanghai ride opened on April 26, 2018.

Walt Disney Studios Park (French: Parc Walt Disney Studios) is the second of two theme parks built at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, which opened on March 16, 2002. It is dedicated to show business, themed after movies, production, and behind-the-scenes. In 2016, the park hosted approximately 4.97 million guests, making it the third-most visited amusement park in Europe and the 22nd-most visited in the world, though it has the lowest attendance figures of all twelve Walt Disney parks. Its two sister parks are Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

The park is represented by the Earffel Tower, a water tower similar to one that was installed at the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

Disneyland Paris, originally Euro Disney Resort, is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32 km (20 mi) east of the centre of Paris, and is the most visited theme park in all of Europe. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company through subsidiary Euro Disney S.C.A. The resort covers 4,800 acres (19 km2)[3] and encompasses two theme parks, many resort hotels, a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, and a golf course, in addition to several additional recreational and entertainment venues. Disneyland Park is the original theme park of the complex, opening with the resort on 12 April 1992. A second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park, opened in 2002. The resort is the second Disney park to open outside the United States following the opening of the Tokyo Disney Resort in 1983.

Walt Disney announced a €1 billion ($1.25 billion) bailout plan to rescue its subsidiary Disneyland Paris, the Financial Times reported. The park is burdened by its debt, which is calculated at about €1.75 billion ($2.20 billion) and roughly 15 times its gross average earnings.

Until June 2017, Disney only held a majority stake in the resort, when they bought the remaining shares. In 2017 The Walt Disney Company offered an informal takeover of Euro Disney S.C.A., buying 9% of the company from Kingdom Holding and an open offer of 2 Euro per share for the remaining stock. This brought The Walt Disney Company's total ownership to 85.7%. The Walt Disney company will also invest an additional 1.5 Billion Euro to strengthen the company.
