Hypothesis Test problems

Описание к видео Hypothesis Test problems

To clarify a few things in the video:
1) Some textbooks/authors will say to use Z if n is greater than 30. Others (like my video) will say use Z only when sigma is known and use t when sigma is unknown.
2) Depending on textbook/author, setting up the hypotheses may be different. The resource I use always puts equality in the null hypothesis. The alternative will have the not equals or inequality. The "claim" is determined by the wording of the question and may be Ho or Ha.
3) Finding the 1.96 or values for p or q is prerequisite knowledge.
4) #11, I made a mistake and wrote t instead of Z. The math is correct, I just wrote the wrong letter.

If your resource/instructor use different methods, then this may not be a good video for you.
