Kohler Lawn Equipment Hard Starting Fix - Zero Turn Mower Choke Adjustment

Описание к видео Kohler Lawn Equipment Hard Starting Fix - Zero Turn Mower Choke Adjustment

If your Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Toro, Ariens, Gravely, Dixie Chopper, Craftsman, or Husqvarna zero-turn mower, riding mower, or garden tractor with a Kohler engine takes a long time to start the choke may not be closing far enough.

Some Kohler engines feature a manual choke control integrated with the throttle linkage. If the throttle linkage is out of adjustment, the choke won't close far enough to help the engine start without cranking for an exorbitant amount of time, or may not start at all without the use of starting fluid.

A simple adjustment of the throttle cable is all that is required in order to get proper closing of the choke and allow the mower to start much more quickly. The procedure is demonstrated on a Troy-Bilt Mustang 50 XP zero-turn mower with a Kohler 7000-series engine, but the procedure may be the same, or similar, with other manufacturers of lawn equipment that use the Kohler engines with the integrated manual choke.
