I tried to make a different style aquarium . I made the rocks with foam & cement which is lighter & hard too. These type of rocks are best for aquarium & water also. i- Purchased that material which is safe for fish life. Ensure that the material will not be harmful to fish.
ii- Make sure to change the water several times before adding fish to the tank.
