How to Perform a Vocal Trill

A well-executed trill can really enhance the expressive quality and overall shape of a musical phrase, which is why composers write them into vocal lines and cadenzas. However, singers sometimes skip over or fail to adequately express trills when performing arias requiring them. In this video I discuss trills and offer an exercise for learning to perform them well.
