Megan Is Missing is a 2011 found footage psychological horror film written, directed, edited, and co-produced by Michael Goi.
The film surrounds the days leading up to the disappearance of Megan Stewart, a high school student in North Hollywood who decided to meet up with a boy she talked with online. After Megan's disappearance, her best friend, Amy, starts investigating herself in order to find her friend. She then goes missing.

This review of mine is mostly spoiler free, since we learn within minutes of the opening that both young girls disappear. However, I will tell you, this is a disturbing and dark film.

Don't expect a happy ending.

While I don't foresee myself rewatching this, I do believe it is an important film that showcases the need to be safe online, having open conversations with loved ones and the importance of the parent/child relationship.
