Once Upon a Time in Transylvania is a documentary film related to the context of the Second World War. Hungary allied with Nazi Germany and Germany granted north Transylvania to it through the Vienna Dictate of 1939. Romania was a neutral country at the time and Germany simply took north Transylvania by force. The massacre at Ip is to blame on the Hungarian army, who decided to eliminate Romanian civilians in a time when Romania had not even entered the war yet.
