Major Accident in Tolleson Arizona

At approximately 7:30 pm on Saturday the 20th of January, Tolleson Police and Fire responded to reports of a vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of Van Burren Street and north 99th Avenue. When units arrived they found a passenger vehicle and a pick-up truck with heavy damage to both vehicles. Per scanner traffic, at least one person was transported in critical condition to a local trauma center. The intersection was shut down for a few hours Police could conduct their investigation to see what led up to this accident. It is unknown if impairment was a factor in this accident.
