Starting with the primary colors you will see how and why some colors work together better than others. By making your own Color Wheel you will also learn the possibilities of mixing a very wide range of colors. To follow on from this you can add two more (earth tone) colors to make a basic palette of 8 colors that will cover most of your painting needs for most subjects.
