The installation of the synchronous condenser at the Tucumã substation in Acre, Brazil has been completed. The scope of this project involves providing a complete synchronous condenser, including an automation and control system, auxiliary electrical system, and coupling transformer. With the equipment assembly finalized, the team is now focused on the testing phase to bring the equipment into operation. The synchronous condenser is expected to be operational by the 30th of this month.

Our innovative solution is essential for stabilizing the power grid in a challenging region like the far northwest of Brazil. This system plays a crucial role in the strategy to expand the National Interconnected System (SIN), especially in a state like Acre, which has recently been integrated into the system through new transmission lines and substations.

"The installation of the synchronous condenser at the Tucuma substation is key to ensuring grid stability, maintaining quality and reliability in energy supply for the people of Acre. This technology reduces voltage variations and enhances the safety of the electrical system, ensuring that the state's expanding energy infrastructure is accompanied by high-quality power for everyone," stated Project Manager Carlos Fontes.
