2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV Premium Plus: Start Up, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 Take a look at the newest two row SUV from Mazda! This 2024 Mazda CX-70 Premium Plus is a cool option that's also a plug in hybrid! Packing the inline 6 cylinder turbo engine and AWD, this has some nice driving characteristics. The 2024 Mazda CX 70 makes 280 horsepower with 332 pounds feet of torque and has the 8 speed automatic and mild hybrid system. Price on this CX-70 was just over $50,00 and it had a very nicely appointed interior. I liked the leather seating and the trim all around. The ride quality is pretty good overall. For the price, it's very smooth as well for highway cruising or for around town. Seats are a bit hard compared to others at this price point and after about 3 hours of driving, they got a bit uncomfortable, but that's a long time behind the wheel. Overall I think the CX-70 is a good choice to check out. However it just feels like this high trim looks more luxurious than it is. I wouldn't mind a bit more plush ride and softer seats. The 2024 CX-70 does have a lot of space and a very useful cargo space and does make for a good family SUV. It would also be nice to see a full touch screen system for the price, that seems to be a standard now across all vehicles. But the dial is easy to use to help go through the information.
