Yesterday I pulled out an old painting from my art closet and challenged myself to make it better. It’s not always fun to go back to old painting. Old paintings have a force to pull you down. In the abyss of frustration. Yet it was interesting to see how much I’ve learned in the past two years and if I could bring transformation to this portrait.
