The water in my Discus tank is Acidic (soft), I use Fluval Aquatic Peat granules and x2 Marineland bonded filter pads in my sump (changed out every two months) along with an EHEIM 300w heater (also in sump). My tap water is (hard). I maintain consistent water parameters and test bi-monthly using API 5 in 1 test strips. GH: 180, KH: 40, PH: 6.5-6.8, Nitrite: 0, Nitrate 20-40, temp: 82f-84f. I feed my plants with Seachem Flourish (Comprehensive & Trace) bi-monthly. Fed twice daily (early morning and mid evening). I feed “Flake Variety Complete Nutrition and Flake Beef Hearts" (SOMETHINGSPHISHY) mornings. “(Tetra) Bloodworms, (Fluval) Bug Bites, (New Life) Spectrum Discus Pellets (regular), evenings. X5 remaining (healthy, no disease. x1 is a runt/stunted but growing). I have medicated (Erythromycin, Nitrofurazone, Oxytetracycline) fish food, but have not needed to use it on the Discus fish as of yet🤞🏾. (purchased from SOMETHINGSPHISHY).
