In this video I have shown how to overlay google map sattelite image in QGIS 3.4
This is same as openlayers plugin in QGIS you can also say as alternate option for openlayers plugn in QGIS.
QGIS has released new verion 3.4 in this october 2018.
In earlier version of QGIS there was openlayers plugin by which it was easy to overlay google map satellite and other map overlayes but in this new version of QGIS openlayers plugin is not available.
This problem can be solved with the method I applied by XYZ Tiles.
Openlayers plugin shows error sometimes but this method of XYZ Tiles connection will work smoothly.
