Duck Hunting NZ Highlights 2020 with Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus

After a 3 week delay with the season thanks to covid19, we managed to get into an epic 18 days of mallard madness. Unfortunately I can only shoot weekends due to work commitments so missed most of the action. The Waihou River provided excellent duck numbers with almost 700 mallards in the freezer shot mostly on the pond with 60 shot on the river over opening weekend.
The Beretta A400 performed faultlessly, cycling every round of 3" Steel shot without bruising the shoulder whatsoever. Even less felt recoil than my previous Extrema 2. My ammo of choice is Falcon number 2 and 3 shot through the factory improved cylinder choke (IC or 4 stars/notches). I also used some Remington Nitro-steel which also performed well.
