The 5pm open for NBC affiliate KIEM in Eureka, California, also on CBS affiliate KVIQ also in Eureka.

On Monday, January 19th on their 11pm show, KIEM/KVIQ debuted new graphics that somewhat follows it's other sister Marquee stations. The lower thirds were updated prior to them launching and are different than company's other stations. The open uses the same template used across Marquee's stations, but KIEM opted to keep their 3D animation of their logo in it.

They also are on a new set as well, which originally debuted in late December of 2025, but the camera was zoomed in during their newscasts. This is KIEM's first major set overhaul in over two decades.

Music is still "This Is The Place" from Stephen Arnold Music. Ben Blankenship and John Beach are the voice artists for the station (Ben is being phased out).
