We use a FLIR thermal imaging camera to demonstrate how 3M's Thinsulate 75 all-season window film stops up to 40% of heat loss associated with windows (when applied to 1/4" single pane glazing) by reflecting heat back in to a space in winter months . This product has a 75% visible light transmittance (VLT) and thus is invisible on the glass on the glass as well as can reject up to 47% of the total solar energy during summer months (when applied to 1/4" single pane clear glazing).
