How To Pull Apart & Reassemble Contigo AutoSpout Lid

Contigo bottles are great and me and my kids love them but one of the MAJOR FLAWS of these bottles is the lids have a lot of hard to reach places and can easily grow lots of hidden mold which is impossible to clean without pulling the lid apart.

There weren't any good guides on exactly how to pull apart and clean the Contigo Autospout Lid plus how to reassemble it and put it all back together (because the steps to put it back together were actually a bit different to pulling it apart). So I created this guide that worked for me and hopefully it helps you to clean and fix any moldy or broken Contigo lids you have and help keep your kids and family safe.
