Easy Crochet Belt/Cord DIY For Ren Faire or LARP!

Here’s a super easy beginner crochet tutorial for a Ren Faire or LARP belt or cord! I think it’s pretty versatile and has various uses, including tying a bedroll, braiding hair, using it as a decorative belt, making handles or straps, jewelry, and all sorts of things!

Hopefully this was easy enough even for someone who is a complete beginner to crochet, and there are so many ways to wear and use it. (:

What you need is:
Medium weight yarn
Scissors
5.5 or 6mm Crochet Hook
Tapestry/yarn needle
A way to measure

0:42 - What you need
0:58 - Slipknot
1:18 - Starting to chain
1:38 - Starting the repeat
2:56 - Ending the belt (cutting your yarn)
3:22 - Burying the thread without tassels
3:52 - Making Tassels
4:29 - Separate yarn pieces for the tassels
4:38 - Putting the tassels in
5:49 - Completed Tassel belt and uses for the Cord!
