Learn UX: User Experience

Описание к видео Learn UX: User Experience

The difference between user experience and information architecture is kind of a subtle one. User experience (UX) is defining the user; information architecture (IA) is putting that on paper.

Say I want to build a gambling website, right? Who do I build this for? A user experience professional might ask: Is the website for old ladies who like gambling? Is it for my bro friend? Is it for teams of people who like fantasy baseball? There’s all these different people I could build it for, but I don't have the money to make all these different sites.

User Experience
* User experience helps me decide who I’m going to build the project for.
* User experience means doing user research.
* User experience involves creating personas (aka. profiels of the ideal user).
* UX professionals often will look at competitors websites so that you can optimize and focus your content in relation to them.

An information architect is someone who takes all the UX data, and then builds wire frames, storyboards, and all the blueprints (aka. deliverables) that are then handed off to the designer.
