Kaguya Wants to be Confessed To - or The Geniuses' War of Love and Brains is good. It's a great manga and a great adaptation and I'm probably not the first person you've heard say that. But I might be the first person who's taking a look at the specifics of the writing from a comedy perspective, to figure out what makes it tick and why the execution through this audio-visual medium allows the jokes to still land. We take a look at Episode 7 - specifically "Miyuki Shirogane Wants to Work" to breakdown how the roles each character fills, the subject matter and the surrealism all work together to create a gut-buster.
