This tune, which is similar to Kelton's reel, called Stoney Point is widespread in the old time repertoire but comes to #bluegrass through Tony Rice's recording (loosely imitated in this video). Tony plays the A and B sections reversed and completely drops the third part which is extreme enough to make it frustrating to try to play with someone who knows the actual tune. #mandolin #folkmusic
