On beautiful spring day, March 30th and 31st , 2024 Ian and myself made the trip to the top of the Slocan Ridge starting at 1600' asl to the top at 6627' asl. We used Ian's new K9 2400 Kioti on tracks and had no issues in the climb. Ian knows this ridge better than probably anyone in the area, living here his whole life. It was about 17 km to the top with some spectacular sites along the way.
Growing up in the area we used to Hang Glide off the top and at a launch located part way up. (See my other videos Hang Gliding)
The Slocan Ridge is located 24 km west of Nelson BC, Canada.
