Thammareddy comments on the Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu in the Skill Development case is scheduled for a hearing in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The Chief Justice of India (CJI), who reviewed the mention memo submitted by Chandrababu's legal team, has agreed to commence the proceedings on Wednesday. Details about the specific bench assigned to hear this petition are expected to be disclosed later in the evening. Chandrababu has approached the Supreme Court, seeking the dismissal of the case registered against him in the skill development case, arguing that prior permission from the Governor under Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act was not required.
