In the run up to the 19th NatWest International Island Games Guernsey 2023, we have been joining some of Team Falkland Islands in their training sessions for the competition.

Basketball has been played at the games since 1999 but the Falkland’s have never sent a team to compete before. All of that will change this year however when the 10 strong basketball squad face the competition in Guernsey.

Bela and Darnell went down to the leisure centre to see if they could score some hoops!
