Talented artist Scott Nelson takes us through the basics of sketching architecture. How do you approach it? How do you handle the moving light and shadows of the sun?

The historic Olney Cook Artisan Shop, built around the 1830s, is located in Mendon, Massachusetts. This amazing little building was once one of many cottage shops lined along Hartford Avenue, offering a variety of hand-crafted items to people passing by on horse or foot.
