Kreutzer Etude #8 Kim Kaloyanides Kennedy, violin

Well, this is a good way to get back into shape for the DSO season!! I took almost a month off while traveling and now it's time to hunker down. Since two of my students were recently assigned this etude, I decided to record it for them, and for YOU!
As always, the goal is to make it sound like music, real music, with soul. How? By giving life and breath and motion in the sound. Something needs to carry it through. It should always sound similar, but never the same. There needs to be contrast, there needs to be color, yet none of this is written in, so we have to get creative.
