Today, I will share a playhouse makeover. My husband and I completely transformed this craigslist LITTLE TIKES PLASTIC PLAYHOUSE COTTAGE and customized it for our two daughters! We're showing you exactly how we did it, including before and after shots of the playhouse. I hope you guys enjoy watching this video. Below is the materials list for this playhouse. You can use any old playhouse you find on craigslist or facebook market and make it over. We also spray painted an old plastic table and chair set with the Ocean Mist spray paint to add it to their little cafe. You can find similar plastic table and chair sets at target either online or in-store. We made the playhouse into a cafe where the girls can order food by the window area. Enjoy this DIY projects because your children will definitely enjoy playing with it.

Upcycle & Recycle Playhouse!

Materials: $80 Total Budget
Plastic Little Tikes Cottage House $20 used from Craigslist (Sometimes you can get it for free)
**Use Rustoleum’s 2X line for your spray paint***
Spray Primer x 1 can (just for the door) = $6
Plastic Friendly Spray Paint: 6 cans: body = 2 cans, roof = 2 cans, door = 1 can (colors listed below)
Spray Sealer = $6 x2 = $12
SPRAY PAINT COLORS USED TO PAINT PLASTIC PLAYHOUSE
Gray Roof: Granite $6 X 2 = $12
Gold Shutters: Gold Metallic $6 X 1 =$6
Blue Doors: Ocean Mist $6.48 X 1 = $6.48
White Interior/Exterior: Blossom White $6 X 2= $12
Plant bracket: Gold Metallic & were $2 from Ace Hardware or sometimes the Dollar Tree has
these as well. $2
House Numbers: Craft section in Dollar Tree (Usually silver but you can spray paint them gold)
Metallic Bucket: Gold Metallic & can be found at the Dollar Tree or Target Dollar section
Flowers: These were around the house and you can use faux flowers or real flowers.
