I Started a Weekly Stitching Journal | Embroidering Butterflies and a Moth | calm music, no talking

My weekly stitching journal is going to have 12 signatures. There are 4 pages per signature and I’m filling 1 page per week. I started on June 3rd. The first page serves as a title page for the journal. In this video, I’m showing my completed pages and the process of creating the sixth page.

This was my first attempt at embroidering butterflies and a moth. I was inspired by the beautiful work of Marion ‪@marionsworld24‬.

The colours are not exactly true to life (partially intentionally, partially based on materials I had on hand), but I was trying to represent these butterflies and a moth:

Vanessa atalanta – red admiral (previously red admirable) – babôčka admirálska
Limenitis reducta – southern white admiral – bielopásovec jednoradový
Catocala electa – rosy underwing – stužkavec vŕbový
