Atwood Lake Camping May 2021 HD 1080p

Our first time camping at Atwood Lake Park & Campground - and it won't be our last!

We stayed in Area "H" which used the be the Group Camping area of the park but is now a brand new full hook-up campground with concrete pads, nice grassy areas between sites, metal picnic table, fire ring and parking spot for your tow vehicle. There are a number of premium sites right on Atwood Lake - and boat docks for those who also bring along a boat.

We were blessed by a beautiful spring weekend - very cool at night but perfect temps in the low 70s during the day with pure blue skies. We hiked several trails and walked the park to get a feel for the area, talked with super friendly fellow campers, and even ran into the town of New Philadelphia for a grocery run and were surprised to find a Bueller's Market in town - a very nice upscale grocery that even had gluten free breads and other items.

Sorry for no narration - got a new camera and was more focused on the ins and outs of the camera than talking about what we were doing and sharing highlights. But I'm not sure my commentary would have added a whole lot anyway.
