American Lung Association® Open Airways for Schools® – A Childhood Asthma Self-Management Program

Elementary school children ages 8 to 11 can learn how to better manage their own asthma when they participate in the American Lung Association's award-winning Open Airways For Schools® program (OAS). The program is the most widely recognized asthma self-management program for children in the nation, recognized by the CDC as an integral part of education for children with asthma.


OAS is a proven and effective evidence-based program offered to elementary children in school, community and youth-serving organization settings.
