In a peaceful pond surrounded by green trees and pretty flowers, lived a little duck named Daisy. She had shiny yellow feathers, bright eyes, and a very curious heart.

While the other ducklings loved to splash and play close to their mothers, Daisy always looked beyond the pond and dreamed of seeing what lay outside.

One sunny morning, Daisy saw a shimmering butterfly dancing over the pond. "I must follow it!" she quacked with excitement. Without thinking twice, she flapped her tiny wings and waddled after it, through tall grasses and under the shade of big trees.

Suddenly, Daisy found herself in a dark forest. The butterfly was gone, and she couldn't find her way back! "Oh no!" she whispered, tears filling her eyes. Just then, she heard a rustle in the bushes.

Out came a friendly squirrel named Squeaky. "Are you lost, little duck?" he asked kindly.

"Yes," Daisy sniffled. "I followed a butterfly and now I can’t find my pond."

"Don’t worry," said Squeaky. "I’ll help you."

Together, they asked a wise old owl, climbed up on rocks to see far away, and followed the scent of fresh pond water. Along the way, Daisy helped a tiny mouse stuck under a log and shared berries with a hungry bunny. Everyone was surprised how brave and kind she was!

Finally, as the stars twinkled in the sky, Daisy saw the sparkling pond in the moonlight. "Home!" she quacked joyfully and ran straight into her mother’s wings.

From that day, Daisy became a hero in the pond. She still loved to explore—but now, she always told her mama first and never went alone. And she was known as Daisy the Brave who found her way home and made many friends.
