How I Ship Framed Photos, Art and Prints Safely

This is how I ship my framed pieces I sell on eBay, Poshmark and Etsy. If you are not selling on Poshmark, I would recommend calculated shipping on eBay. My best practice is the weigh the framed piece and then add 1 pound as long as all sides measure under 15", if a side is over 15" inches add a pound. I also add an inch to every dimension for packing. Example:

Framed piece weighs 4 pounds and measures 14"x14"x2", I would put it in as 15"x15"x3" and weighs 5 pounds. I would then use those measurements and weight in Pirateship to the farthest place from me to calculate shipping if the site you do does not offer calculated shipping.
