To add to what Sri Vidyadheeshacharya says in this video, Sri Sri 1008 Sri Satyatma Teertha Swamiji till today has donated over INR 5,00,00,000 (5 crores) to Vidwans and Vidyarthis all across the country through Sabha Pariksha, Sudha Mangala, Mahasamaradhane, etc. Every year Sri Uttaradi Math under the direction of His Holiness organizes multiple events where students from different Vidyapeethas/Gurukuls come together for conferences, symposiums, examinations, and many more which have been a major boost in the field of Gnyana Prachara.
The annual cost of organizing these events and the sambhavane involved is somewhere between INR 20,00,000 to INR 50,00,000 and this is every year. This number is expected to grow multiple folds in the coming years as His Holiness plans to produce more and more Vidwans through multiple Vidyapeethas.
In this light, we understand the extreme necessity of an initiative like Vyasa Vidya Seva, all of us must be very proud of ourselves for having gotten this opportunity to serve our community by helping to preserve the precious Vedic Knowledge. All of us should try to contribute more and more to this initiative, spread the word, get more members involved and we shall grow to a level where one day we as Vyasa Vidya Seva can contribute the whole share of expenses of events like Sabha Pariksha, Sudha Mangala, etc. happening in our community.
