A fellow beekeeper and I took the task of removing our second beehive from an older house. This hive was located on the 2nd floor of the home, and we went into the concrete plaster in a room. They were a new hive from a swarm that moved in thru a hole in bricks. We didn't see the queen during the removal, but the next day it was found.
The bees were safely relocated and happy homeowners!
