Mika's Prayer | Kyrie Eleison (Blue Archive BGM) [Piano]

Kyrie Eleison. Probably the most important keyword for the 4th chapter of the Eden Treaty, which has finally come to an end with the recent update. Once again, Blue Archive's scenario writer, isakusan, gave us a wonderful story to enjoy.

This arrangement is a special one, almost a composition/re-imagined version I would say. Although I could have just transcribed the original soundtrack, I thought it would be better to further expand on the idea and make an actual "Mika's Theme", so that's what I tried.

Based on both the soundtrack and the original Gregorian chant, I tried to express the feeling of the story: Mika praying for others for the first time, and herself being eventually saved, with a sense of hope. The 3/4 time signature was chosen not only to simplify the measure-less structure of the original soundtrack, but also to give a noble, slow waltz feeling that would suit a princess.

Overall, I had a great time making this small piece, and I hope you enjoy it as well :)
