🇱🇰 Sri Lankan Fish Curry | Meen Kulambu | Fish Curry Sri Lankan Style | Sri Lankan Fish Curry Recipe

Sri Lankan fish curry or Meen Kulambu in the local language is one of the tastiest and lip-smacking seafood dishes in Sri Lanka.

Usually, this curry is prepared from coconut oil, a lot of spices, and coconut milk. For making this curry, I have used mackerel slices, It’s up to you to choose the fish of your choice. Generally in Srilanka, they use Goraka as a souring agent, But you can substitute it for Tamarind if you don’t find it around. At first, the fish is marinated with salt and turmeric. Then the curry is prepared by cooking Onion, Tomato, and spices along with Coconut milk until it turns thick. Then the marinated fish is cooked along with the rich curry. It tastes really good when served with hot steaming rice.
