Craftsman Tractor Drag Link Fix - No weld method

Описание к видео Craftsman Tractor Drag Link Fix - No weld method

A simple way to fix a drag link when the ball keeps popping out of the socket. Apologies for not showing how to do it, but it's simple.

I got in a hurry making the video so I was backward with my first comments on how to make the bushing work.

Edit: At places like "Nuts & Bolts", Westlake , Ace Hardware, etc., the split-bushings are generally in the nut & bolt section in one of the little drawers. https://s3-media3.fl.yelpcdn.com/bpho...

1) Put bushing in a vise or hold it with vise grips with the seam facing up.

2) drill a hole in the center of the seam. (The drill size should be around the size of where the ball meets the stud. It has to be smaller than the ball as you're creating a new "socket".)

3) Pry the bushing seam apart far enough to where you can slide it over the piece the ball is attached to.

4) Stick the ball into the socket, slide the bushing over the steering link until the drilled hole is centered around the ball and then squeeze it back together.

5) Get back to mowing!
