Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Ride Review!

Got to test ride the all new Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Expert build at the 2024 Long Island Mountain Bike Festival. The Stumpjumper 15 features Fox's new Genie shock to deliver 145mm of rear travel, paired with a 150mm Fox 36 Performance Elite fork. Specialized provides its own Eliminator and Butcher tires in a T7/T9 compound respectively. The drivetrain is GX AXS Transmission mated to a PNW dropper post and lever. Overall, the Specialized Stumpjumper 15 pleasantly surprised me with it's impressive climbing ability and responsive frame. The platform has great control over rough terrain, but the GX AXS Transmission wouldn't be my first choice if you have more up and down trail systems.
