Global Alert is an app that allows you to report trash hotspots anywhere in the world's waterways or coastlines. SEE - SHARE - SOLVE. When you SEE the areas of trash, report them with a location on the map (geotagged) so that others can use that information to prevent and avoid future trash buildups. SHARE this information so that stakeholders in the community know where to conduct a clean-up, or like this video, SOLVE the flow downstream by using fishing nets, managed by local villagers, to catch the plastic before it gets to the Tonle Sap Lake. All are now proud to be part of the solution for their broader community and waters they depend on.
