In this video, we’re exploring some of the key features of the Manchester accent, including:

🔹 Dropping the 'H' at the start of words
🔹 Dropping the 'G' at the end of -ING words
🔹 Using the glottal stop (e.g. bo'le instead of bottle)
🔹 Pronouncing 'a' in bath, grass, etc. with a short vowel
🔹 The unique 'u' sound – so bus sounds more like boss or book
🔹 And the 'TH' sound pronounced as 'F' or 'V' – like thing → fing, brother → bruvver
