In my quest for better faster leather results ive made a couple of hardwood slickers for a bench grinder and die grinder.
when leather is fresh cut, the fibres are pretty lose on the edge making it both unsightly and delicate, using a slicker amalgamates the fibres and produces a hard better looking edge!
