West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday for his photo during the inauguration of the new Parliament complex yesterday. The photograph depicts the Prime Minister smiling with a group of Adheenam seers from various Tamil Nadu mutts who had arrived in Delhi to attend the inauguration of the new Parliament on May 28. Mamata paired the image with one of India's early Prime Ministers, Jawaharlal Nehru, President Rajendra Prasad, and BR Ambedkar, among others.
